Under the umbrella of her former business name, DANGERZONE PRODUCTIONS, since 1995 Robin Moore recorded, mixed and mastered both live remote performances and studio projects in a variety of styles that include jazz, classical folk, rock, gospel and electronic dance.
She has been an audio engineer for WGBH Educational Foundation in Boston, MA since 1998 where she has recorded classical, jazz and folk music performances for radio air. In 2024 Robin created RLizM Music, LLC, to channel production of her own music compositions intended for self-release, podcast and film score. RLizM Music compositions are available for licensing. Clients can also pay for compositions as a “work for hire”. Music genres range from soulful dance music, Neo-soul, jazz, hip hop, rock and classical.
2026 will mark the beginning of Goopy Gappa Grooves, an independent label dedicated to soulful house music tracks.
Robin’s musical training in began at age 8 with study of classical and pop music on the piano. It continued with recording and performing in an R&B and pop band in her teens and accelerated with study of Jazz Piano and Music Production and Engineering at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Robin additionally gained a wealth of technical knowledge with undergraduate study of electrical engineering at Brown University, where she also played keyboards in the college R&B/Pop band, "The Electric Company".
The combination of Robin's music, production and engineering studies with that of electrical engineering provides a solid foundation of knowledge that delivers audio production competency, great attention to detail and expertise.
Robin has been writing soulful, jazz, funk and house influenced music since 1988. Over the years her music composition style has transformed into expressive, soulful dance music that takes advantage of her musical talents on the keyboards. Some of her influences include in no particular order: Masters at Work, Frankie Feliciano, Reelsoul, Dave Lee, Spen, Basement Boys, Louis Benedetti, McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper and George Duke.
With the strong influence of dance music in the nightclub music scene in 1993 naturally came the desire to dee-jay at various dance nightclubs, which has led to dj gigs in Providence, RI USA • Boston, MA USA New York, NY • Newark, NJ • Miami, FL • Charlottle, NC • Baltimore, MD • Zurich, Switzerland • Lucern, Switzerland and Winterthur, Switzerland. From Sept. 2006 to Feb. 2014 Robin mixed a weekly 2 hour soulful, deep house internet mixshow on www.HandzOnRadio.fm.
